Clerk of Works
Mansfield area
£15 per hour
6 month contract working for a reputable facilities management company, servicing a large public sector client in the Mansfield area.
Clerk of Works required for assessing, progressing and overseeing building maintenance works. You will be required to assess the property and services within, preparing a list of all works to be completed. These will consist of lighting, heating, plumbing, & general building repairs. You will then progress works through to completion, overseeing internal maintenance staff and on-site contractors.
Applicants should have a good appreciation of building services and remedial maintenance works. Previous supervisory experience is required, preferably within the building services sector or the construction industry. Knowledge of current building practices, construction contracts and CDM regulations is also highly desirable.
