Role
Civil and Structural Engineering work and supervision for the Iron & Steel Division
Tasks
Manage / execute / ensure correctness of all aspects of civil & structural design and engineering
Estimating hours and costs for pre projects
Construction engineering
Ensuring projects are executed within time scale & price
Developing efficient design processes
Staffing civil & structural design projects
Education / Knowledge
B Sc Civil & Structural engineering.
Chartered structural engineer
Knowledge of STAAD PRO 2D and 3D programmes
Experience
Essential
Extensive experience of Civil /Structural engineering design activities and in addition vast experience in Civil & Structural design etc in an Iron and steel environment. Seismic design experience
Civil & Structural estimating and client presentation / co-ordination
Desirable
Experience of working in a multi discipline engineering organisation
Construction site experience
