CIVIL ENGINEERS
NUCLEAR DECOMMISSIONING
KENT, SUFFOLK, GLOUCESTERSHIRE, ESSEX & SOMERSET
We are seeking Civil Engineers to be involved in the exciting and technically challenging work of safely decommissioning reactor sites. You will lead in the design and safety substantiation of existing and new equipment and the work will be varied as it can involve all stages of projects with a focus on maintaining technical compliance across all disciplines.
To succeed as Civil Engineer, you should be qualified to degree level in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related subject), or with equivalent experience and you will ideally be chartered.
You should be enthusiastic to develop knowledge of the Nuclear sites and will provide a high level of technical capability. You must be willing to undertake intelligent customer roles, providing technical supervision of the specification and delivery of research, design, construction and demolition activities.
Good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills are essential as you will interface with internal staff, contractors and external regulators.
