Description
My client, a large Contractor, requires 2 Civil Design Engineers to work on various Water projects.
Principal duties/activities
1. A member of one of the water & wastewater project teams working primarily on water company projects, either directly for Utility client or for a Contractor
2. Manages sewage treatment, pumping and sewerage projects
3. Prepares feasibility studies and writes reports
4. Carries out design and manages design by others
5. Attends meetings representing the firm and chairs relevant meetings
6. Visits sites prior to, during and after construction
7. Deputises for senior staff as appropriate
8. Takes instruction from Associate
9. Liaises directly with Clients and Contractors and other stakeholders
10. Supervises technicians and CAD technicians as required on a day to day basis
11. Helps ensure projects are delivered to quality on time and budget
