Chief Mechanical Designer Valves - Hampshire
To assume full responsibility and accountability of all liquid filtration designs for aerospace liquid systems.
To provide the capability to design full filtration applications for aerospace liquid systems.
To manage support staff assigned and set departmental and individual goals to said staff. Establish departmental metrics to monitor department/individual staff performance.
Work cooperatively with customer, suppliers, engineering, technical and sales to define realistic requirement specifications for aerospace filtration assemblies for liquid applications.
To provide experience and expertise to assess feasibility of designs at an early stage and ensure reliable, functional and manufacturable products.
To take ownership and design responsibility for filtration assemblies for aerospace liquid applications and associated products either against individual design specifications or as part of a broader system. Provide support during design, development, prototype and pre-production manufacture.
Focus on new projects, which demand involvement and coordination to achieve the following project objectives:
1. Meeting the customer specification
2. Competitive Product Cost

Integrate lean manufacturing philosophy within the design process
R&D - Potential development areas
