Description
Chief Estimator required to take responsibility for the London and South East region and all aspects of the Estimating and Tendering process including managing the pre-construction team
Position: Chief Estimator
Package: £70-80k with full range of benefits car allowance, pension, healthcare etc
Company: UK Construction Group with London and South East Business undertaking new build and refurbishment schemes across the area, comprising of Design & Build and Traditional plus PFI build out, project values of £75m.
Role: Chief Estimator required to take responsibility for the London and South East region and all aspects of the Estimating and Tendering process including managing the pre-construction team and ensuring the front end tendering process is co-ordinated, structured and successful.
The main duties include tender analysis, bid evaluation, overview of value engineering, tender adjudication, managing the bid process and timetable to ensure a timely and successful conclusion, monthly reporting and client negotiation involvement upon larger schemes.
Requirement: Experience of construction tendering in the UK Building sector for new build and refurbishment schemes. Previous experience of managing a team of estimators and pre-construction staff. Must be able to demonstrate a successful track record in the pre-construction phase.
