Working as part of a multinational and multi-disciplined team, the Chief Engineer will be involved in a range of projects for the automotive and motorsport industries. You will be supporting the design, development and integration of leading edge technologies into advanced vehicle systems for Powertrain control & integration, hybrid vehicles and ECU hardware & software. You may also be required to mentor engineers and assist in the development of capability in this area, and capture requirements and define systems specifications.

You will be a degree qualified engineer with automotive industry experience and an electronics development background. Your degree qualification will ideally be in an electronics related subject and you will need to demonstrate:
•An ability to lead a multi-disciplined technical project team
•Customer facing sills and sustainable development of client/development partner relationships
•Good interpersonal skills
•Track record of technology product development within automotive driver assistance systems
•Experience of developing automotive products from concept to production
•Generation of product design and test specifications
Technical knowledge in one or more of the following additional areas is essential:
•Electronic control unit development
•Software lifecycle
•Product development processes and product lifecycles
In order to be successful, you will need to seek innovative solutions while working within tight timescales. Able to work well within multi-disciplinary project teams, you will be a self-starter with the determination to deliver to clear objectives.
