A Chief Engineer is required for an established port and marine consultancy to join a team of consultants and engineers based in London.
Our client is a marine, offshore and engineering consultancy. Their team of engineers and master mariners offer specialist maritime expertise to oil and gas, legal, shipping, insurance and ports and harbours clients worldwide.
It is essential that the potential Chief Engineer hold's a current unlimited Certificate of Competency. The successful candidate will have extensive sea-going experience.
The ability to understand system drawings and one-line diagrams is essential. Experience as a superintendent, DP vessel experience, and/or experience of the offshore oil/gas industry would be a distinct advantage.
Candidates must be good communicators with particular skills in technical reporting and able to work within a small team as well as independently.
Candidates must be medically fit for offshore work.
