The primary task is to produce accurate fuel cell templates for the Production Department as well as taking an active part in the future design and development of fuel cell systems.
The job functions will include:
Overseeing fuel cell designs from conception
Ensuring Drawing standards and procedures are maintained
Attending weekly production meetings
Management of Design team
Attending circuit visits
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
Mechanical Desktop (AutoCad) proficient
Proven strong engineering background
Knowledge of fabrication and engineering manufacturing processes
Excellent communicating Skills
An active interest and involvement in Motorsport
Commitment to customer service excellence
'Can do' attitude
Ability to work to strict deadlines
Pro-active approach
A willingness to take ownership of problems and determination to see things to completion
Minimum HNC qualified
A thorough approach to both design and a strict attention to detail
Knowledge of the military, marine and aviation industries would be a distinct advantage
