Our Client requires experienced process / systems engineer with a good knowledge of design, operation, installation and inspection of pipework and ancillary equipment (pumps, tanks, heat exchangers, etc). Roles exist at all levels through to principle.

Candidates would be expected to work in a Radiologically Controlled Area.

Candidates should be conversant with the following:

Chemical Process Engineering Design (especially in the areas of cooling systems and process waste treatment).
Design of pipework systems to ASME Codes.
Fluid flow calculations.
Pump sizing.
System inspections and Periodic Safety Review.
Nuclear experience while not essential would be an advantage.

Identification of issues from investigations of the review of installations and providing clear recommendations.
Ready to take ownership and responsibility for issues.
Able to prioritise work effectively with a systematic and logical approach.
Focused in the delivery of a high standard of work, to time and cost.
Optioning / value engineering experience.
Good oral and verbal communication with a variety of customers both internal and external to the company.
Design Report / Specification writing.
Computer literate in MS Office applications.
Working knowledge of key drawing types.

Qualifications:
Degree in Chemical / Process Engineering would be preferable
Membership of IchemE (or other appropriate institution) preferable.


This role required candidates to achieve a UK unrestricted SC clearance that can only normally be obtained by exclusively British Nationals.
