Position
The Certification Engineer role is either a Focal or Lead Design/Certification role where you will carry out and/or control projects and tasks from instigation through to completion. The Certification Engineer will be involved in tasking, supervising and motivating permanent and sub-contract staff. The Certification Engineer will attend Design reviews and progress meetings and liaise with the customer and interfacing departments. The Certification Engineer will have Mechanical Design experience in the aerospace industry and a working knowledge of a recognised CAD System such as AutoCAD 2004/6, Autodesk Inventor or Solid Edge plus an understanding of current civil aerospace certification requirements. Previous experience as an airworthiness checking signatory is ideal. The Certification Engineer will be self motivated and a team player.
