An exciting opportunity now exists for a talented, results-driven Maintenance Manager who really wants to make a positive contribution at a high-profile manufacturing facility in the South Midlands a group centre of excellence that manufactures and distributes products worldwide.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for the safety and reliability of all production plant and equipment in the factory a 24 hr / 365 day operation - enabling the production plan to be consistently achieved whilst conforming to all Health & Safety requirements and legislation.
Working within the constraints of your maintenance budget, you will liaise closely with Production management to ensure that all maintenance issues are dealt with promptly and effectively, ensuring that the correct coaching, direction and strategy is in place to support the development and implementation of a coordinated maintenance policy across the manufacturing site.
It is vital that your approach continually challenges current practices - driving improvement through all of the resources available to you, especially your people.
Degree educated, you will be able to demonstrate extensive Maintenance management experience to date, working within an FMCG or other manufacturing process environment. You will have a proven expertise in planning the maintenance of large plant equipment, with a good understanding of British and Industry standards for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
It is essential that you can also demonstrate experience within the following key areas
High pressure and temperature working specifically with high pressure steam
Familiarity with complex chemical process equipment
Working knowledge of computerised maintenance management systems
Understanding of computerised control of process plant
Broad depth of knowledge of Health and Safety regulations (eg. Permit to Work)
Experience of pressure system regulations and working knowledge of statutory regulations
