Leading, managing and motivating a multi-disciplinary team, the role will be responsible for optimising productivity whilst ensuring quality, delivery, lean and safety measures are maintained and improved upon. The emphasis of the position will on managing change and driving manufacturing performance through the introduction of the latest continuous improvement/problem solving tools and techniques .
Candidates, ideally qualified to at least HND level in a relevant engineering or manufacturing-related discipline, will have proven experience gained in a similar role in a modern, progressive manufacturing environment. The right candidate will believe in modern process management and continuous improvement techniques (tact times, SPC, 6 sigma, TPM, Kaizen, Lean etc) and will have a confidence in their ability to work with others to make a positive contribution.
