Cell Coordinator
Our client, who delivers innovation in technology through design and manufacturing processes, has an urgent requirement for a Cell Coordinator based at Redditch.

The Cell Coordinator will be required to co-ordinate the activities of one or more manufacturing cells. They require someone with Product assembly management experience gained from aerospace or manufacturing sector
Responsibilities of the position may include:
•Planning and organization of cell resources to meet specified targets to include: monthly output; past dues; OTTR; quality and inventory levels.
•Effective liaison with other cell groups and functions within the organisation to ensure related activities produce a synchronised result and an excellent level of customer service.
•Ensuring assets, including tools and resources, are maintained adequately to meet the demands of the production plan. Maintenance documents should be present and kept up to date.
•Fully implement and manage the HSEMS and Company safety rules to include:
•a) Generating monthly inputs into the Awareness Index;
•b) Assist in drawing up HS&E checklists and manage these lists month on month;
•c) Demonstrate the automatic use of PPE as part of normal working practice. Ensure appropriate HSE standards are followed at all times.
•Manage the personal disciplines of subordinates to include:
•a) holiday taking within Company guidelines;
•b) housekeeping at a high standard,
•c) HS&E, including PPE usage,
•d) taking responsibility for selection, training, performance management, grievance and other disciplinary matters. Including the completion of individual HPD behavioural assessments.
•Maintain timely and accurate records of appropriate information relating to: scheduling; quality; traceability; maintenance; safety and training.
•Manage the Consumable Item Stores, maintaining viable supplies to ensure continuity of business.
The ideal candidate must have Experience of Managing people; Of Coordination in a manufacturing environment meeting deadlines and OTTR; Quality monitoring and reducing escapes; Lean and modern manufacturing techniques and Precision Engineering background.
