An automotive OEM requires a Calibration Engineer
Job description
We are seeking an experienced calibration engineer to support the installation,
orrect running and trouble shooting of any calibration related issues on these engines or vehicles. Experience in test bench installation and test bench and vehicle fleet support, fault finding, data interrogation are further requirements for this position.
The successful candidate will have to be highly mobile and be prepared to work at multiple locations across Europe at short notice.
Your profile
You have relevant calibration experience, in the ideal case you are familiar with Bosch Piezo common rail fuel system calibration, (torque based calibration on a Bosch CRS 3.2 platform) and Garrett VNT turbocharger. A thorough understanding of diesel combustion and the emission formation process is essential. A working knowledge of at least one calibration aid tool is also required. In addition you have excellent computer skills and you are able to use PC-based tools to influence / interrogate the powertrain control system. Last but not least you are highly motivated and used to work on own initiative.
