Description
Experienced CNC Turner needed for immediate start in Sheffield. Permanent position
Due to ongoing business growth and internal expansion of our client's machining department, they have fantastic opportunities for skilled turners who have good manual skills and CNC experience for preparation and finish turning of forged aerospace shafts and components for off highway vehicles.
Knowledge of aerospace materials would be an advantage (Waspalloy, Titanium, Inco 718 and other Nimonic materials). Although not essential, any experience of deep hole boring would be an advantage.
They operate cellular working with a mix of turret and centre lathes, with full CNC turning and boring lathes. A flexible approach to working is required in a fast moving manufacturing environment.
