CNC Supervisor - Middlesex

Hours of Work: Monday Friday 0800 1700, hours may vary.

You will be
Experienced CNC operator specifically with wood, on a 3 axis unit.
CAD & CAM experience to a high level.
Customer facing
Either have or aspiration to have supervisory / management level.
Able to demonstrate a high level of authority.
A decision maker

This is a challenging role where you will be accountable for a small team and work closely with our retail sales division to ensure the delivery of bespoke products.

Basic Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Able to set up, run and shut down our equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Clean and maintains machine, tooling, and parts to maintain equipment in optimal production condition.
3. Works safely to prevent on-the-job injuries following all safety regulations
4. Post edits CNC program to fine tune process for optimum performance
5. Inspect cutting tools for sharpness and usability.
6. Observes machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometer and dial caliper. Adjust machine to control part process.
