Our client operate in a very niche market, and they are the market leader. They provide customers with bespoke equipment and use some of the latest engineering technology and methods to achieve this.
They are looking for a skilled CNC setter/operator to join the team.

Our client operate in a very niche market, and they are the market leader. They provide customers with bespoke equipment and use some of the latest engineering technology and methods to achieve this.
They are looking for a skilled CNC setter/operator to join the team. You will be reporting directly to the the team leader and with have responsibility to deputise in his absence so you must have excellent communication skills and leadership skills.
The position of Setter/Operator requires you to be time served or apprentice trained, this position is a very important one within the manufacturing cycle so quality of work is very important!!
Our client have won numerous awards over the years and are looking for an individual who can come in and blend with the team and help take them forward. The team ethic is very important within this company so personality is also important.
As a Setter/Operator you will of course be responsible for the setting and operating of CNC machines, you will be required to help other members of the team if needed and of course they will do the same, you will have control over the quality of your work so experience within high precision engineering will be very beneficial.
The position would suit someone who has experience of both milling and turning as there is a diverse array of machines with different machining centres, you will of course be given extensive training on any machine you have not used previously.
This is a very exciting position for the right Setter/Operator, as three more machines are being installed over the next six months, showing how the company are growing and looking to increase production further.
The position is on a double day shift system operating and early and a late shift rotated on a weekly basis. For your skills and commitment you will receive an excellent starting salary between £21,000 - 23,500pa with a 33% shift allowance taking initial earnings up to £28,000 - 30,000pa. Overtime is available and other company benefits including pension, holiday, healthcare are all available.
