Description
Our client seeks an experienced CDM Co-ordinator to work across Essex and surrounding areas.
Our client, a firm of construction and engineering consultants is expanding it's team of CDM Co-ordinators and now seeks a CDM Co-ordinator at intermediate or senior level to join them in Essex. You will work across Essex and the surrounding areas. You will advice clients on their responsibilities under the CDM 2007 Regulations, apply CDM regulations to business processes and project management methodology, maintain up to date CDM documentation, submit monthly reports, issue the initial F10 to HSE, review F10 through life of the project, agree the form of the H & S file for projects, initiate the Health and Safety file, complete the Health and Safety File Checklist, ensure the necessary Pre-construction information is identified, collected and passed to the right person, review adequacy of Risk Assessments and Method Statements and record and advise appropriately, advise the Client that the Construction Phase Plan is adequate for work to start, works closely with the design team, attend project meetings, liaise with the principal contractor, undertake audit on sub-contractor competence and log in the system, undertake site safety inspections etc. Ideally you will have a relevant construction health and safety / CDM qualification and have some previous experience.
