Assystem work as a preferred supplier to a High Performance road car Manufacturer who is currently expanding its Engineering team. This current opportunity is for an experienced Automotive Powertrain Packaging Engineer with experience of CATIA V5 to join an expanding powertrain department.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
1Lead detailed design & engineering of powertrain components & systems with a focus on engine design, integration and installation into a vehicle package (base engine, powertrain mounts)
2Chair cross functional design reviews
3Deliver detailed designs on time to predetermined quality, cost and weight targets
4Integration and packaging of the specified powertrain components to meet system and vehicle targets
5Support powertrain & vehicle development activities
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Ideally degree qualified in relevant engineering discipline along with full CATIA V5 training and experience. Knowledge of working within a powertrain packaging and integration department for an Automotive OEM or Automotive Tier 1 supplier.
