Our client designs, fabricates and builds a range of large commercial, industrial and residential buildings and modular systems. Current projects include a new aircraft hanger with a 125m clear span, three new schools and a new retail development and their order book is very healthy. They are looking for a technician with existing structural CAD experience, probably gained within a consulting practice using AutoCad. The drawing office is at the heart of the business, so the role will provide plenty of potential for career progression. You will be based in new purpose built offices and will be under the guidance and supervision of the drawing office director with close support from the rest of the team. Full training in the use of ExSteel will be provided. There are two bonuses per year and whilst it is never guaranteed, there is currently plenty of overtime available to those who want it. The company prides itself on being a good employer and staff turnover is particularly low.
