Responsible for the development of the Thames Water CAD platform, we are looking for someone who is ready for their next career challenge and who possess the drive, enthusiasm & technical understanding to deliver enhanced productivity to the CAD service.
This is an opportunity to take on a role providing a service that is critical to the delivery of the Capital Programme
•Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure provision of an effective CAD platform
•Develop knowledge of relevant technical, business and external CAD market developments and implement changes to increase productivity & efficiency
•Project manage CAD improvement initiatives
•Manage and implement updates to CAD standards, associated processes and software to ensure that they remain aligned to business requirements
•Act as focal point for technical matters associated with CAD service delivery, providing advice and solutions where appropriate
•Oversee the CAD audit process to ensure that drawing production complies with CAD standards
The ideal candidate will have an ONC / HNC/D technical qualification or equivalent and comprehensive technical knowledge & experience of CAD, preferably Bentley Microstation V8, and related IT systems. You will also have significant experience in the management of technical information as well as excellent interpersonal, analytical, presentation and communication skills. A driving licence and the ability to travel between offices is also essential.
