Software Engineer
Our client is seeking to recruit a Software Engineer to develop feature upgrades to instrumentation software. The role is for an experienced engineer with solid Windows programming experience that can work comfortably at the systems level. The successful candidate will be involved in all stage of the product lifecycle Requirements, Analysis, Design, Testing, Release and Support.

• Track record in design of effective, robust software
• Innovative to be able to create and develop new ideas

• Willing to learn - project management/team leadership potential

Skills and qualifications required
Essential
• HND+ with relevant experience or equivalent
• Effective GUI design experience
• Object modelling using UML
• Delivery to tight project timescales
• MFC experience
• Visual C++ / C
• Experience of ISO9000/TickIT environment
• SW reliability
Beneficial
• Project leadership potential
• Background in instrumentation
• FW development
• C# / .NET experience
• Background in hardware/real-time
