Description
We have an immediate requirement for experienced C&I design engineers for work with a major EPC in Berkshire. Experience in the Nuclear or Defense industry is essential for this role.
*******Candidates with SC or DV Security Clearance will be able to start immediately.
We have an immediate requirement for experienced C&I design engineers for work with a major EPC in Berkshire. Experience in the Nuclear or Defence industry is essential for this role.
*******Candidates with SC or DV Security Clearance will be able to start immediately. Those without any security clearance will have to wait 3-4 months for vetting*******
Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent in electrical / electronic engineering - Or relevant experience.
Member of a recognised institution and preferably be a Charted Engineer.
Experience:
The candidate should have a minimum of ten years relevant experience in a design orientated environment some or all of the following topics:
-Building Services including HVAC
-Heavy/process industries (e.g. Nuclear)
-Process Instrumentation covering pressure, flow, level and temperature measurements.
-Building Management Systems
-SIL systems
-Profibus or similar protocol.
-Experience of MOD facilities, hazardous atmospheres and knowledge of Explosives regulations an advantage.
Roles & Responsibilities:
-Role of a lead C&I Engineer working within a multi-discipline office.
-Responsible for all C&I activities associated within delegated Project.
-Guidance of C&I engineers within his team.
-Liaison with other engineering disciplines.
-Reporting to the Project manager.
-Resolution of day-to-day C&I Engineering issues.
-Delivery of project on time on budget.
Candidates must be comfortable working as part of a team, be pro-active and have a flexible attitude regarding the role.
