£25k - £35K Plus package including:

Our client are looking for a Buyer / Planner, this is a dual role which requires a candidate with excellent organisational, communication & managerial skills. The role will be working for a major retail manufacturer who supply display units to high street retailer. The company was formed in the 80's and has a turnover of close to £34m. The candidate will be office based and coordinate all the buying and planning within the company. This is a very important role as all the systems have been updated so someone with excellent organisational skills is key.
Skills & Experience
"Excellent organisation, planning & problems solving skills as well as proven communication & analytical skills.
"Proficient in using MS Word, Excel, MS Project & Concorde(Training provided)
"Candidates who apply MUST have extensive experience of using the MRP buying system. Preferable implementing the system into an organisation.
"Must be experienced in finances and budgeting.
"Experience of ordering materials overseas i.e. Poland or China.
Responsibilities
"Organising all ordering and planning of materials for the company
"Reporting into the Purchasing Manager on a daily basis.
"Provide detailed financial control and forecasting as per monthly Project Contract Review
"Identifying problems and solving them with little fuss or disturbance to the rest of the company.
