A large aerospace company are looking for an organised and upbeat buyer with previous engineering experience, preferably within an aerospace or aviation related company. The company are currently growing with a number of large orders and new markets opening up to them
The role involves dealing with all disciplines of engineers and support staff to ensure that materials, treatments, components etc are sourced within the right timeframes as required by programme outlines.
This requires a committed and driven individual, confident in dealing with suppliers and colleagues, happy to chase orders and communicate effectively to support the engineering programmes.
Previous buying and expediting experience is a must and engineering knowledge is also required to ensure a good fit with the role.
Use of databases to track and monitor orders, progress and source suppliers would be of benefit.
