Buyers, long term contract, manufacturing, competitive salary. purchasing experience from all areas required.
Due to expansion and new projects this world leader in the manufacturing arena is now looking for experienced Purchasing individuals and buyers to become part of the companys highly experienced and talented procurement team.
Working from their prestigious Warwickshire head quarters the successful candidates will be responsible for the negotiation and purchase of specific manufactured parts from suppliers.
The buyers will be involved in ensuring that the companies select the most appropriate goods and service on the basis of price, quality and services support.
Key activities will include:
Forecasting likely levels of demand for services to be used in the manufacturing process
Conducting market research to ascertain market trends and needs.
Giving presentations.
Developing a purchasing strategy
Identifying potential suppliers
Keeping constant check of stock levels.
Using various procurement and management tools.
The ideal candidate will be educated to CIPS standard or degree level but consideration will be taken on suitably experienced candidates from a procurement background.
