We are currently recruiting for a Buyer to join a large defence company in Farnborough. This is a contract to permanent position to start as soon as p

ssible The Buyer may be required to manage preferred supplier relationships ensuring that performance is in accordance with contract requirements and dealing with all customer complaints swiftly and effectively. In addition the Buyer may be assigned to one or more purchasing related projects involving either a specific customer group or a specific category. The Buyer is expected to be fully conversant with purchasing principles and techniques, and will be required to make cost-effective sourcing decisions across a range of purchases. The Job Holder may be assigned to a particular customer group or a particular spend category or project and will be required to develop a sound understanding of the key customer requirements and business imperatives, and/or the supply market for the appropriate product/service group. Any successful candidates will need to undergo a form of security clearance
