This leading Coventry UK based manufacturing group who supply engineered products into the commercial, industrial and consumer marketplaces is looking to recruit a Buyer who comes form an engineering, production or manufacturing type background.

THE ROLE

Working within this medium sized purchasing function you will be given the responsibility as a buyer for the purchasing of both production equipment and consumables. You will need to work closely with your suppliers to ensure the best prices are being achieved through the negotiation process as well as planning using the master schedule.

THE CANDIDATE

You will need to have experience of buying from within a manufacturing/engineering production environment with the ability to influence and negotiate to a reasonable level. You will also need to have good organisational and planning skills to keep ahead within this fast moving environment.
