Description
* job purpose:
This is a new role for Indirect Procurement, it has been generated to provide support for the business transformation at the Glascoed site.
The role has been created to ensure procurement best practice is maintained for the acquistion of new plant, and equipment
* key responsibility areas:
First point of contact for Indirect issues concerning transformation of the Glascoed Site.
Single point of contact for escalation of supplier issues.
Key interfaces
Reporting to IPS Customer Service Manager
Supported by IPS Procurement Management
Liaise with Munitions Infracstructure Management team
Supplier at MD level
Engineering / Designers
Liase with site transformation Manager

This role will be supporting the transformation of the Glascoed Site, the candidate will be working have a close working relationship with the transformation team reporting into Indirect Procurement.
Candidate will join an IPS team of 2 on the Glascoed site

Requirements:
CIPS qualified or studying. Candidates must have experience of negotiation and sound projects experience. They must come from a professional procurement background not just an inventory or stores background. Ideally candidates will have experience in buying plant/construction.
