Business Quality Administrator
Our Client is seeking a candidate who has the ability to support their Document Controller in the administration of CogniDox and Oracle related activities plus other document management responsibilities. The succesful Candidate will also be involved in the maintenance and coordination of Laboratory Test Equipment, including calibration
Business Quality Administrator
Our Client is seeking a candidate who has the ability to support their Document Controller in the administration of CogniDox and Oracle related activities plus other document management responsibilities. The succesful Candidate will also be involved in the maintenance and coordination of Laboratory Test Equipment, including calibration
Key Responsibilities:
Document control related responsibilities to include:
Providing first line support for CogniDox related enquiries.
Managing Data Management process and liaising with supply chain to follow up these communications.
Maintenance of ship flag in Oracle.
Facilitation of concessions and waivers.
Test equipment related responsibilities to include:
Responsible for maintaining and managing Asset Management system and control movement of assets into, within, and out of the company.
Liaise with colleagues in other locations to control assets held in those locations.
Managing the calibration of UK equipment, and hire of equipment on short-term contracts. Negotiate global discounts / rates wherever possible.
Provide advice and guidance to employees concerning equipment capabilities and preferred vendors / partnerships.
Build and maintain relationships with key equipment vendors, e.g. Agilent, Rohde & Schwarz. Facilitate meetings with vendors. Disseminate relevant information to user groups.
Liaise with Facilities to ensure that asset related aspects of R&D laboratory facilities are maintained and managed, e.g. ESD controls.
Specific tasks to involve:
Test equipment inventory control.
Managing lab equipment availability and calibration.
Perform incoming asset booking in / out, and run equipment stores facility.
Document preparation, e.g. shipment of assets.
Preparation of CAPEX proposals and budgets. Liaise with Finance and budget holders.
Organisation of in-house training (ESD controls).
Liaise with Facilities on general lab issues.
Person Specification:
Required:
Organisation skills.
Computer literate (office applications).
Attention to detail.
Desired:
General QA expertise
Understanding of ISO 9000 advantageous.
Knowledge of static control processes, and the implications when handing electronic components
Experience of working with design engineers and in manufacturing (ideally in a technology company).
Due to dual nature of this role our Client is seeking experience in either a test & measurement environment or document control environment with ability to cross train and adapt to other area.
