Supports the Global Sales Director in identifying suitable business development opportunities
Visits customers to discuss possible projects
Develops and delivers customer sales presentations
Writes proposals with support from technical specialists and sales
Liaises with customers to report project progress/issues etc.
Conducts lead reviews with team leaders
Manages weekly sales/engineering meetings
Monitors and updates senior management on project expenditure against forecasted costs
Liaises with technical teams to ensure consistent communication
Supports the definition, development and implementation of processes to ensure the consistency, quality and successful delivery of projects
Ensures the delivery of projects to the right quality within the agreed timescales and costs
Arranges regular technology updates through road shows/workshops within market segments
Arranges regional technical seminars

Education: Minimum Preferred
2.1 Degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering, perhaps post-graduate qualified.
Preferably chartered status.
Alternatively equivalent level of relevant working experience in lieu.
