Description

Working from home and reporting to the Southern Regional Sales Manager, this role includes the development of new Drives and Motors business in the southern region. In addition the management and development of a number of nominated accounts which are strategically important to the Standard Drives, Industrial Motors and Large Drives business overall result. The development of business across the regional, vertical and partner sales teams.
Key areas of responsibility within this role will be:-
*Identification and development of new Accounts to achieve business targets.
*Management and development of a defined number of evaluated key accounts
*Working in close co-operation with the regional and vertically focussed Account Development Managers to maximise the utilisation of the business unit resource and convert Drives & Motor opportunities.
*Assist with the development and deployment of the business unit strategy.
*Act as a proactive interface between the business and the greater sales organisation.
*Work closely with the Partner development teams to achieve our Distribution strategy and growth targets.
*Promote the Drives & Motors products and services in the way of seminars, presentations, factory visits and promotional events.
*Using the company CRM system to maintain customer records, log opportunities and systematically follow through the company's sales processes.

Qualified to HNC/Degree level or equivalent we are looking for suitably qualified candidates who have the ability to work proactively to develop new Drives & Motors business opportunities and work closely with the greater sales teams and our supply chain partners. The individual should have an in-depth knowledge of the Drives & Motors products, solutions and services provided by the business and markets and applications that these apply to. Also vital to this role is the familiarity with the full spectrum of Drives & Automation products and solutions available, relevant to the target markets and strategic levers in line with the overall company sales strategy. We are looking for a determined, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who has excellent communication and relationship building skills. Excellent presentation skills, applications, market and competition knowledge are essential.
