A unique and challenging opportunity has a arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to develop the regeneration expertise and market share for a global independent consultancy company.
Due to continuous growth of the company there is the need to capitalise further on this key business area. The company have made a significant contribution in a number of regeneration areas, including in both urban and rural settings for commercial, economic, residential and public amenity developments and are looking to develop this further.
Responsibilities:-To integrate development and regeneration services within wider client offerings .
-To provide and communicate business opportunities within & across the Divisions, building these into Divisional and Advisory Group business plans.
-To undertake a strategic market review into the development and regeneration sector including appraisal of clients, services, regions and identification of opportunities for profitable growth.
-To develop a business plan for the regeneration sector, confirming those market areas that build on existing strengths and capabilities with the aim of identifying growth areas.
-To co-ordinate, report and communicate assignments undertaken within the sector across and within Advisory Groups.
-To share information across the Division to stimulate awareness of sector opportunities.
-To liaise with the Marketing and Communications Support Group to develop awareness and profile raising of the Company within the sector (exhibitions, publications etc)
-To develop own and Company profile within the sector via committee membership, papers etc.
Requirements:-The right candidate will have a proven ability in influencing at senior levels, and can demonstrate a sound commercial awareness.
-RICS/RTPI/Bsc/MBA or equivalent accreditation to support the complex nature of business development and technical input required for the position.
-Significant experience at a senior level within the development or regeneration sector.
-Proven business development experience.
-Experience and involvement in either large scale regeneration and development projects, master planning/town planning/strategic planning, environmental impact assessments, architecture or urban design led projects.
-Extensive development or regeneration client network and/or profile
Salary:-£40-60kbasic (dependant on experience)
