An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Business Development Manager for a leading provider of Operational IT systems to the nuclear, power generation and utility markets.
This is an excellent opportunity and a chance to join a well established company. You will be able to make a real impact on the Industrial sector delivering automation control and IT solutions. This is a UK wide based position, but preferably a Midlands base.
This is a sales role that requires the ability to develop relationships with a wide range of operational and senior clients in order to understand and shape business propositions that address their needs in automation and real-time IT.
The right candidate will have the ability to work in collaboration with company experts and partners to shape solutions that will be attractive to existing clients and new prospects in order to develop a strong pipeline and to achieve bookings.
Responsibilities:
-Responsible for building own pipeline of opportunities and closing these to achieve bookings.
-Working collaboratively within the team to drive sales growth within the sector.
-Understanding the market needs within this sector and identifying propositions and solutions that are attractive to customers.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key prospects and clients ideally as a trusted advisor.
-Responsible for providing timely and accurate information relating to pipeline and forecast.
-Sharing account and contact activity information to enable cross-selling and identification of additional opportunities across the team.
-Being an active member of a flourishing business development team in a growing business contributing new ideas, enthusiasm and collaboration across the team in order to drive further growth.
Requirements:
-Proven solution and sales ability within this type of work and sector. Credible knowledge and experience of existing or target generation markets would be considered favourably.
-Willingness and ability to travel. Good organisation skills.
Salary:- £35-50k dependant on experience.
