BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

THE COMPANY
Having experienced excessive growth over the past 5 years, This well established manufacturer of customised keyboards and data capture equipment for the engineering and industrial market, is in need of an experienced Business development manager to penetrate key customers across the UK.
THE ROLE
Working with some of the country's most prestigious clients, you will be expected to set and implement sales strategies to develop and build relationships at engineer and manager level, therefore, your experience at board level sales will be advantageous to your success in the role.
Dealing with Production managers and engineers, you will focus on specific solutions of how these products will fit on process lines and contribute to the efficiency of a manufacturing plant, therefore, your technical aptitude will be necessary in order to maintain respect from your customers.
THE PERSON
The ideal Business Development Manager will be:
-From a technical engineering background with at least an HNC qualification
-A consultative salesperson with a stable track record
-Able to handle long lead times and take projects from concept to completion
-An individual who can work autonomously as well as within a team
