Our client an independent consulting and technology company that provides domain and technical support to the UK MOD and Defence Industry are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to provide business development within the UK Defence ISTAR sector. The role will involve providing business development in the ISTAR sector to include training, system engineering, research and security targeting clients based primarily in the UK , delivering against agreed targets in the market sector, sales planning, lead generation and qualification, customer interfacing, identifying and developing resources, solutions development and proposal input, writing and negotiation. Candidates should have sound industry knowledge and technical understanding within the ISTAR arena, competent in producing presentations and bids and have good account management skills.
