THE COMPANY

As the Major Projects Division of an International Construction Group my client have the "in house" capability of managing the complete installation of the building services through dedicated, directly employed M&E teams, responsible from conception to completion for the design, procurement, installation and commissioning of the whole contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES
You will work closely with in the estimating team to carry out and be responsible for the following:

Review the tender documentation highlighting the contractual and design risk stipulations with in the documentation with the IME Design Manager and IME Quantity Surveying Manager, design team requirements and associated timescales required to be able to effectively cost the tender scheduling out the above through the risk register, tender programme.

Continually review the process ensuring the design review is being progress to allow effective costing of the documentation taking into account any impact upon the building structure, commercial opportunities/ risk and potential cost savings that can be offered.

Responsible for the collation and monitoring of all relevant package specific information with in the tender programme time scale. Produce clear & concise document for the internal tender settlement with an overview of the contract to support the cost plan. Prepare submission documentation in line with the building bid manager minimising specific risk items through the submission documentation

During the tender evaluation period review, formulate and respond through the bid manger to any questions or clarifications from the Clients team

Upon successful tender address any required changes with in the tender submission maintaining a clear, concise & auditable trail through out the whole process.

THE INDIVIDUAL
Good communication & presentation skills
Dedicated member of the overall bid team
ONC/ HNC in either electrical or building services and/ or relevant experiance
