Description
Our Client packages and distributes classical pharmaceuticals, OTC medicines, nutritionals, next-generation vaccines and biological products throughout the world. Operating on behalf of three major brand names, the manufacturing output extends to 300 product lines at their 22 acre, state of the art manufacturing facility in Hampshire.

Operating on behalf of three major brand names, the manufacturing output extends to 300 product lines at their 22 acre, state of the art manufacturing facility in Hampshire. They have the immediate requirement for a Building Infrastructure Manager to manage all site infrastructure, buildings and civil works, including all department-led projects, develop all department civil engineering standards in line with Best Practice, and to ensure operational excellence through the implementation of corporate project methodology, delivering a World Class Facilities Infrastructure.
Accountabilities and Tasks:
•Compliance with Local authorities requirements, building regulations and relevant applications
•Compliance on all projects with Corporate and Site standards
•Budgetary control of all Department led projects ensuring best practice with projects delivered on time and to budgetary constraints.
•Communication and reporting on all performance metrics to the Head of Facilities Engineering. Monthly report including master project file issued 3 days ahead of management meetings.
•Effective staffing. All staff appraisals reviewed and approved by HR deadline. Job descriptions, training and development plans in place for all Civil and project staff. Responsible for ensuring that staff are trained against the cGMP requirements of their role.
•Delivering Customer focused building infrastructure and project control to World Class standards.
•Capital projects direction. Approval of capital projects annual budget. Appointment of Project Engineers for capital and Revenue projects.
•To assist and drive OE led projects throughout the department's sphere of operations on a site wide basis.
•Outsource services and contracts to deliver projects in collaboration with the Purchasing / Engineering procurement specialist utilizing robust contract systems such as NEC3 / JCT
•Maintains site Engineering Standards and SOPs as appropriate
Experience and Personal Attributes:
•Experience in handling budgets up to or in excess of £2M for capital projects
•Experience having supervised staff / contractors on site, during multiple projects running concurrently
•Preferably holds a Bachelor's Degree in mechanical, electrical or civil engineering
•Ideally holds Chartered status
•Computer literate to include MS Project
•Project Management experience including building infrastructure
•World Class Management experience / OE Experience beneficial
•Experience having worked in a regulated industry would be advantageous
