Our client is currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer, Electrical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer, Craftsperson, Technician to join their site in the Leeds, York, Harrogate, Selby, Garforth area.
The ideal candidate for this Multi-Skilled Engineer or Craftsperson role will have completed a relevant time served apprenticeship, be dual skilled with a HNC or equivalent qualification combined, preferably with experience of working in a food or drink manufacturing environment. Furthermore the Engineer must be PLC literate and have been exposed to a multi skilled environment. Naturally the Multi-Skilled Engineer or Craftsperson will be a creative thinker with the ability to approach situations in an innovative manner, have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage site teams.
This is an interesting role that will require the candidate to develop and implement effective ways of attending to plant breakdowns and planned maintenance as well as operational improvement work and plant optimization.
