A leading supplier of technical products to the civil and military aviation industries are currently looking for a Bid Manager to work from their Luton office.

If you already have experience in preparing large bids and tenders, this is an excellent opportunity to play an integral role in the continued success of a growing organisation.

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, your main responsibilities will entail;

- Gathering and collating internal information for tenders and quotations, including pricing, technical specifications and compliance reports
- Generating tender response documents and quotations
- Compiling detailed specifications of orders
- Liasing with Project Managers in the handover of orders
- Maintaining a bid tracking system
- Monitoring post-order progress

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, coupled with the ability to absorb technical information. Previous experience in preparing large bids and tender documents is important. Experience tendering to the MoD would be ideal. A technical qualification / background would be ideal, but not essential as full training can be provided. The starting salary will be c.£35-42K (depending on level of experience) plus £4K car allowance, private medical, bonus.
