An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Bid Manager within an innovative global logistics provider to support their drive for new business within the technology sector.

The Bid Manager will have previous experience of organising and producing bids from start to finish. The right candidate will also have an understanding of complex supply chains ideally in the technology sector. Based from their Nuneaton office the Bid Manager will play a key part in the company's push for new business working for the Head of Business Development.

Responsibilities:
-Receiving, assessing and producing of Bid Overviews, and producing an initial Risk Plan summary.
-Making available the Bid Overview and Risk Plan summary to the Operating Committee (OC) for Bid/No Bid Review.
-Identification of the skills and capabilities for the bid from the client or from third parties.
-Arranging Bid (and/or bid stage) initiation meetings .
-Planning and managing the bid activities, resources and bid risks.
-Defining the structure of the proposal.
-Producing the Proposal in conjunction with Business Development
-Submission of bid.
-Establishing the Bid Library (and other bid infrastructure).

Requirements:
-Bid Manager will have understanding of complex supply chains ideally in the technology sector.
-Strong customer engagement skills.
-Good analytical skills with a logical and coordinated approach.
-Prior experience of managing bids with multiple dependencies and working to deadlines.
-Comfortable with working under pressure.
-Ability to travel both nationally and internationally with flexible working hours due to the nature of the role.

Salary:-£40-45k dependant on experience.
