Description
Our client in Netherlands are looking for a Business Analyst who has an IT background with experience of financial sector products. This is a 3 months contract and is based in Amsterdam. You must hold necessary documents to work in Netherlands, if applying for the job.
Business Analyst will be responsible for project development, implementation and maintenance of information systems for the support of financial reporting, accounting and risk management.
Your job consists mainly of:
-- Analyzing and translating complex user on (new) products or modifications to existing products to technical, functional and infrastructure information;
-- Construction of a functional design and you carry it with the client, user and project staff;
-- Take care of the development, testing and implementation of the developed systems and supporting users in acceptance tests. Here you work together with the IT department for the technical side of the data delivery
-- The transfer of projects to the managing organization and ensuring an adequate release management.
In addition to a limited extent you are concerned with the provision of first and second-line support with respect to the use of various financial applications.

Binnen een afdeling Business Support wordt gezocht naar een Business Analist. Als Business Analist ben je verantwoordelijk voor het projectmatig ontwikkelen, implementeren en onderhouden van informatiesystemen ten behoeve van de ondersteuning van de financile verslaggeving, management accounting en risicorapportages.
Je werkzaamheden bestaan hierbij voornamelijk uit:
- Het analyseren en vertalen van complexe gebruikerswensen betreffende (nieuwe) producten of aanpassingen aan
bestaande producten naar technische, functionele en infrastructucturele informatievoorzieningen;
- Het samenstellen van een functioneel ontwerp en je overlegt daarover met de opdrachtgever, de gebruiker en projectmedewerkers;
- Het zorgdragen voor het ontwikkelen, testen en implementeren van de ontwikkelde systemen en het ondersteunen van gebruikers bij acceptatietests. Hierbij werk je samen met de afdeling IT voor de technische kant van de gegevensaanlevering;
- Het overdragen van gerealiseerde projecten aan de beherende organistaies en het zorgdragen voor een adequaat releasemanagement.
Verder ben je in beperkte mate bezig met het het verlenen van eerste en tweede lijnssupport met betrekking tot het gebruik van verschillende financile applicaties.
Als Business Analyst beschik je over:
- HBO denk- en werkniveau
- Een IT Achtergrond
- 1 tot 3 jaar ervaring in een financile omgeving met kennnis van Financial Markets producten (vereist)
- Ervaring met Finacial Accounting en Management Accounting (vereist)
- Bereidheid om in een enkel geval testwerkzaamheden in het week-end uit te voeren
