Skills Required :

* Proven quality B2B telemarketing / telesales / call centre outbound cold calling skills

* Comfortable with telemarketing Directors / senior middle-managers

* A commercially aware & credible business professional

* Literate, numerate + IT-skilled (MS Word, Excel & Internet savvy)

* Excellent at detail but able see to the big-picture too

Personality Required :

* A self-starter / self-motivator

* Results focused / target driven - but not at the expense of detail or quality

* Structured / disciplined / methodical

* Proactive - able to spot a sales opportunity, pursue it & maximizes its potential
* A proven ability to learn

* Able to multi-task daily, think on your feet and adapt rapidly

The Opportunity :

* We are looking to further expand our sales & marketing channels to market by launching a new telemarketing operation

* We operate a small team of 3 field sales people

* By the time the right person starts, there will be :

* a new purpose-built (ACT) CRM system - tailored & populated to suit your purposes

* a piloted / agreed telemarketing approach - with all the necessary framework, processes & marketing collateral in-place

* a formal Induction & Training Programme / Manual

* As such, the opportunity exists to hit the ground running & generate commission, in effect, from day-1
The Role :

* Outbound telemarketing (cold) potential customers to : establish the purchasing decision-maker; understand their labeling requirements; & book a site visit for the field sales team

* This will involve : data generation; developing a sales pipeline - by cultivating high quality business relationships; tracking companies until appropriate to close; actively seeking out further opportunities in every call; & identifying / closing cross-selling or ups-selling opportunities
