Description
Our client, a Major Aerospace Maintenance Company are currently looking for a number of B1 Licensed Engineers to be based in Kent.
The primary role as Certifying staff, as defined by JAR 145-30, is to ensure satisfaction of compliance in order to release aircraft and/or aircraft components to service.
Nature and Scope
- Organise, control and direct a team of technicians to complete maintenance tasks in a safe, logical and efficient manner to meet scheduled downtimes and commercial targets.
- Determines when the aircraft or aircraft component is ready to release to service.
- Allocates tasks, directs schedules and monitors time usage for job in progress, for self and others working on job.
- Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organisational procedures in accordance with role requirements.
- Assesses competence of other personnel prior to the allocation of task, as defined in JAR-145.
- Contributes to the safe working environment of the Aircraft Service Centre.
- Refers non-compliance issues / defects to Quality organization, to ensure resolution and action.
- Provide data and information to Team Leaders to support estimating, planning and CCO processes.

Education and Experience
Completion of approved base training.
Minimum attainment of one type rated license.
Meets B1/C category certification (JAR-66)
