Description
Assystem are currently working on a preferred basis with this Niche Vehicle manufacturer for the recruitment of up to 3 Engineers to join the Quality department. Usually known as Supplier Quality Engineers, our client is looking for Logical thinking Engineers with an awareness of quality processes and vehicle design.
The Supplier Quality Assurance Engineers main duties will include:
1. Responsibility for the quality of purchased parts for a specific area of the vehicle.
2. Ensure components

The Supplier Quality Assurance Engineers main duties will include:
1. Responsibility for the quality of purchased parts for a specific area of the vehicle.
2. Ensure components achieve / exceed the required quality level from the Supply base
3. Conduct process audits and develop Supplier processes at Supplier locations.
4. Manage and control approval of production parts and processes (PPAP) for components. 5. Implement and manage part and process improvement activities.
Experience
Our client is looking for the following characteristics in their selection, Integrity, Quality mindset, Logical approach, team player who has awareness of the vehicle design process.
Ideally, the successful candidate well have several years experience gained within a Tier 1 or OEM environment and a desire to pursue a career in supplier quality.
The department is made up of like minded individuals and as such a team player is required who can address people at all levels to Director within the organisation.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
1. Good communication skills to deal with people of all levels.
2. Highly motivated, flexible, team player.
3. IT literate (competent user of MS products e.g. Excel)
Qualifications and Training
1. Engineering Degree or equivalent. (E)
The successful candidate could be at the beginning of their career or midway through as training and development is offered at all levels.
