Assystem work as a preferred supplier to a High Performance road car Manufacturer who is currently expanding its Engineering team. The current requirement is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Automotive Prototype Build Team Leader to join an expanding prototype facility. The Prototype Workshop looks to future projects which will require a strengthened Team structure to improve current efficiency and a structure that will allow for an increase in Team size.

The Prototype Workshop looks to future projects which will require a strengthened Team structure to improve current efficiency and a structure that will allow for an increase in Team size.

The successful candidate will hold accountable for:

Liaison with Department Manager to help plan day to day Technician work allocation for all incoming "Work Requests".
Liaise with Vehicle Development and Design Engineers, Department Leaders to plan and support all Rig, Aerodynamic Tests, and the Manufacture / Modification of prototype parts, plus all other workshop aspects associated with the Prototype, Test and Development stage of new Automotive projects.
Conduct debrief meetings after Automotive Development Testing along with general team meetings when required.
Co-ordinate trouble shooting activities, analyse and resolve complex problems, define and determine appropriate actions to allow work to continue to meet deadlines.
Become involved, once trained in the Company appraisal process.
Ensure safe working practices at all times.
Manage workshop area to best efficiency and presentation.
Ensure all Department and ISO 9001 procedures are constantly adhered too.
Consider training needs to keep team members at the level required.
Plan for future Team expansion.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Team working skills Be able to stay calm under pressure.

Is able to learn any new tasks and equipment to enable you to train others to McLaren standards.
