Project Engineer
The role involves customer liaison, design, application engineering and knowledge of materials and cost as well as liaison with the manufacturing departments. This role differs from the senior project engineer in that the projects handled will be of lower overall value and more numerous requiring less contact with external customers and more liaison with internal sales personnel world wide.
End customers are automotive or industrial OEMs and Tier 1s mainly from the Commercial Vehicle fields.
A focused ,self motivated individual who is driven to succeed with good interpersonal skills is required.
The following are essential requirements for the candidate:
- Live within or be prepared to move to a commutable distance of Newbury
- A minimum of 5 years of automotive or other relevant industrial experience
- Mechanical engineering qualification
- Experience with CAD systems preferably ProEngineer
