The Automotive Powersupply Project Engineer will project Manage and lead cross programme integration of the chosen technical solution - Voltage Quality Modules, DC / DC converters Project management of all related deliverables - cost, quality, weight, and functional requirements within the timing demands of GPDS. The Automotive Powersupply Project Engineer will project Manage and lead cross programme integration of the chosen technical solution - Voltage Quality Modules, DC / DC converters Project management of all related deliverables - cost, quality, weight, and functional requirements within the timing demands of GPDS. Skills Required: Deliverables to include: Robust cross carline implementation of chosen Power Supply solution in support of the client Start / Stop applications Initial requirements, functional targets and metrics agreed Design specification agreed and released DFMEA's, System boundary diagram and interfaces generated Maintain and update requirements captured within eFDVS for cross car line
Review and maintain design verification (DVP) plans and design verification methods (DVM) - Conduct DVP testing of the Power Supply solution where required Manage identification and resolution of engineering issues through the AIMS system. Provide PMST and PMT meeting support cross carline WERs release activities for the Power Supply System and change management support Experience Required: Key Skills: Electrical engineering background
Experience in component delivery and/or component strategy
Voltage Quality Modules, DC / DC converters, Power Electronics advantageous Good communicator with good presentation and leadership. Able to self-start and be highly motivated whilst able to foster good relationships internally and with suppliers
Activities may be based at Whitley and Gaydon, therefore a willingness to travel is essential. Successful candidates must have a minimum of HNC/HND in relevant field, ideally educated to Degree level.
