Assystem are currently working very closely with a Vehicle manufacturer (OEM) who is currently expanding its Project Engineering team. Due to the current status of its project, both Design and Project Engineers are required.

Scope Delivery of given infotainment features for given projects, to quality, cost and time targets. "Infotainment" encompasses navigation, telephony, audio, radio, video and other information display features inside the car. Key Responsibilities The delivery role should encompass 3 main elements, plus many supporting elements as required by the project delivery process. The three main elements are:
Specification of a feature - including full understanding of customer needs, environmental and legal requirements, technical realisation by a supplier and failure mode behaviour. Integration into the vehicle - including all styling, mechanical, electrical, electronic and software interfaces and diagnostics functions. Validation to ensure customer complete satisfaction - including analysis and test, for components and subsystem and systems, on the bench, rig and in the vehicle. Qualifications Ideally Degree qualified in an engineering discipline, although lower level qualification linked with relevant experience will be considered.
